#46. WRITING A NOVEL


Yes, it's true that many non-white people have written novels or are currently writing novels.

But, if you are white, you will probably not escape this life without writing one or more novels.

Or at least beginning such a venture.

It's almost a sine qua non of whiteness: "Have you ever written a novel or do you intend to do so at some time in the future?"

If we were playing "20 questions" and I suspected the solution was "White People," my first question would be "Does it write novels?"
